Cancer screens are tests which can detect certain body changes or early signs of cancer. Some are offered as part of a population screening program - for example, BreastScreen Australia, the National Cervical Screening Program and the National Bowel Cancer Screening Program. Others, such as prostate examinations, may be recommended by doctors for certain people who are deemed to be at risk. Maintaining a regular screening schedule, in line with recommendations, plays an important role in the early detection of many cancers.

ScreenKeeper is a simple, free application designed to help Australians keep track of their important health screens. With this app you can:

- see a list of recommended population screens for people of your gender and age
- enter non-population screens that your GP has recommended
- record previous screens and calculate the dates you are next due for screening
- set reminders for future screens
